Happy Birthday!

Yesterday me and Emeline went to BQ Korea at Far East Square to celebrate my birthday. This restaurant serves authentic tastes of Korea food, prepared by a Korean chef, in a contemporary setting.

The menu offers an adequate variety to choose from, ranging from noodles to rice to soups. We chose the popular signature dish - bQ mini personal mini barbecue that came with beef and we could grill in our personal mini hot pot. We also had the delicious and nourishing Ginseng Chicken Soup too. Hehe... the chicken meat is so tender.

My punishment

Since I had said something wrong, I received 3 punishments from Emeline.

I think the rule of thumb is, girl can say certain things, but guy can't say the same thing. Wahaha!

By the way, her punishment to me is fairly sweet, I must say.

1st Punishment - (Can't tell you. But it's similar to Must Continue to Love Eat Chocolate Everyday, something like that)

2nd Punishment - Give her a Gold Card, which mean I shall forgive her for a thing if she really makes me furious.

3rd Punishment - Something like I must sleep well, eat healthy, quit drinking coffee and beer etc.

So good, hor?

Whoa... it's amazing to see how long I can be away from blogging. Everyone seems so busy with all the exam, exam, exam... and I am busy for doing nothing literally. Somehow I feel that i am wasting my time on everything.

Nah, actually I just feel uncomfortable to think that my writing here will be read by known, and unknown... so freaking.

I have been watching so many movies recently, talking on phone incessantly, till now I yearn for more fresh air.

I need my panadol too.

Having headache recently. I think I don't sleep enough, drink too much, and whatever. That's not really important to anyone, though.

Something bugs me. Have you ever thought of this, during the initial stage of courtship, you have so many things to talk to her? You feel like call her, sms her all the time. In the phone, you will have all the craps to talk with her. How long it will last? 3 months maybe?

When time goes by, both will have lesser thing to talk about. At some point of time, we will stop asking questions. Does it mean we understand and trust each other, more?

Slowly, the silence replaces the laughter. Any unnecessary conversation will irritate, if not agitate, the other party.

Isn't it sad? Can't we be loving forever?

Drink more beer, save water!

Yah! That's my motto of life.

I read a news article that makes me sibeh happy. According to blah blah University, if a man drinks 8 alcohols a week, his chance of Erectile Dysfuntion will reduce by 15%.

No wonder lar... I am sooo strong now. Whooooah. My one can be reduced like more than 100%.

Emeline asked, what is my bad point. Oh ya... I just realise the one of thousand...

I always tend to find an excuse for my wrongdoing. Those things that I do'nt feel like doing.

Example

This afternnon when I reached home, I had an ambitious plan to go for jogging.

I past by the hawker centre, I told myself, NO yummy fried rice today! And, no Beer!

So I happilily home, thinking... well, I could shed some pound by running say 20 min.

Then when I walked to kitchen, I sneeze. Bloody hell. I sneeze! Very serious okay! Am I sick?

So, I sat on sofa and asking myself am I sick. If sick, I can't go for jogging lor... how ah... so dilemma...

20 min later. I sat at hawker centre eating yummy fried rice and ordered some beers.

What the hell.

I am a complicated person.

No wonder noone love me and I gonna celebrate my birthday alone at 29 Sep.

Fuck.

This is life

So many things happened, yet I have nothing to write. I guess this is because I have unknowingly "routinefy" my life now. There is really nothing special that make me feel like blog it here. Omg I am a numb freako.

I remember one day I complained to SJ how boring my life is now; and he said I very wuliao... because a alot of people actually envy my so called wonderful life... huh... *cold sweat* u wan my life then come and take it lorrr...

My routine are actually fairly predictable one. Every wednesday night and saturday morning I will be having my Karate training. Every friday is Emeline day. Every sunday I wait for some other people to date me. Then the rest of the days just work and sleep. Hello ~~~ are you yawning now? -_-"

By the way I have decided not to reveal too much who and where I went out recently. Privacy privacy... ngyak ngyak.

I have learnt to realise certain things recently. I realise that the effort you put in, most of the time doesn't equate to the result you will get eventually. Everything is so in vain, isn't it? Example, you can study so hard, but you get a C grade. You can work so hard, but get screw by your boss. You can try to woo your girl so much, but she marry someone else later. Very irony lor. So what for? Sometimes I really cannot understand what happen to us.

Anyway, life still go on. And we all will still continue putting our effort into the things we believe. At least we try. Right?

The weather is so breezy cool here recently, esp tonight. It's rainy season now and I love it. I enjoy being alone in this kind of atmosphere. Listening to my radio, seeping my cold beer, and talking to special someone. I am wondering if Stef is coping well in United States. She told me it is freezing cold there now... and she is having serious cold, flu and cough. Well... always hope that she can really take care of herself there. Life is tough and cruel. But we gonna enjoy every moment of it.

Last night I went to Suntec to have dinner with Serene. My impression was, somehow we really overdoing to the whole IMF saga. The high security fencing and tight police force around the convention centre doesn't really make a good impression to me. Are we really so lack of any sense of security? Do we really need to put out our fake 4 million smile and pretend warm service standard only when the very important visitors at our doorstep?

Do you mean we normal, local Singapore folks are nothing but trash? We don't deserve a better security, a warmer service standard, a genuine smile? I don't know. It makes me very uncomfortable. This is our society.

I bought the Oceanus toilette and perfume oil from The Body Shop. I really love its smell. Really relaxing fragrance.

I am a ball

Sometimes I am sibeh buay song when other people appear to be so busy, yet I seems so free. Does it mean they are more important at work, or they have more life than me? Woots!!!

I have finished reading all the newspapers / online articles / smart and stupid blogs whatever. Now I am staring at the PC screen reading the Dictionary.com ---> Kill me

Alright, I particularly love this word FUTILE, let me quote it below -

Princess Hours

Recently I have been watching this Korean drama series Princess Hours with Emeline. I must admit this is really one of the best Korean dramas I have ever watched...

Story story... :P

Princess Hours or more commonly known as Goong (2006) is a romantic korean drama. Story evolves around the current Crown Prince of the Korean royal family (This is just a fiction. Korea is no longer ruled by kings). The story started off with a deal made by the previous emperor and his good friend that their grandchildren will get married to each other. At that time, the royal grandchild intended was Yul but when Yul’s dad (Crown Prince at that time) died in an accident, then Shin (Joo Ji Hoon), Yul’s cousin, took over as the Crown Prince after the emperor passed away.

But Shin has someone whom he liked (Hyo Rin) and decided to propose to her. Shin was rejected so he agreed to take up the arranged marriage with Chae-kyung (Yoon Eun Hye). However, he still hangs around with Hyo Rin quite often. Meanwhile, Yul who just came back from overseas, fell in love with Chae-kyung. As both Shin and Chae-kyung are now the Crown Prince and Princess of Korea, their quite intimate relations with Hyo Rin and Yul respectively creates rumours after rumours, which jeopardise the status of the royal family.

After living with Chae-kyung for long, Shin began to like her. But will he be too late to prevent Yul from taking her? At the end of this drama, there was a little unexpected twist but still an acceptable one.

A protest in KL... so cute hor :) but I think this mascot looks more like a doggie than a sheep... maybe he is a sheepdog (my Whisky is a sheepdog too, whoof)!

I am meditating in office now, whereas Emeline is sleeping. Great. Such a good life.

Sometimes I hate to read people blog about how interesting, exciting, fascinating, fun etc etc to study and stay in a foreign country! I am damn jealous can!!!

I don't know what I did last Sunday

Ah... I am such a busy boy recently. So busy till I have no time to update my blog (Yah! Even in office) and it has been showing sign of decay now... gulp!!!

Last friday I went to Night Safari with little Emeline. She did not believe that I was really bringing her to the zoo at that hour (8pm) until we reached the entrance. Ahaha! Nah... we only had a dinner, took a tram ride, and watched an animal show there... and nothing else. I am dumby with no sense of romance even a lovely princess sat beside me under the stars... whoaa!!! I was a dead fish T-T

God! I forgot what I did last Saturday and Sunday! Never mind...

I attended a short course at British Council on Monday and Tuesday. I love the trainer and my classmates there; they are so funny and hilarious! Know a new friend Joey, who is a staff nurse, and she is very amusing as well. Will you ask your new friend to help you queue for a fish soup for 20 minutes? She did that! Argh... hijacked me and asked me to buy for her. Anyway, I was wondering if all the nurse same hilarious pattern one? *wink*

On monday night, I met Serene who has injured her finger... such a kelian girl. Her finger looked exactly like a tempura prawn... ngyak ngyak!!! She is very disgusting... kept telling me that the blood will spit out from her finger. Yeek!!!

Just met Emeline for lunch before sending her to school; and I gave her something that made her laugh hysterically in my car. Hahaha... happy right you crazy Emeline :)

Buddy is for life

Yesterday I met loon for late night supper (again). We always go to the same restaurant ever since he came to work in Sg, but somehow many things have changed since then.

He is my best buddy. The one and only true and real friend I make in my life. I knew him about 11 yrs, the common thing that brought us together is beer, I think -_-"

11 yrs ago, we studied in the same sec school. We gone through the stages of wooing girl, gruelling exam, rebel against fellow classmates, and of cos drinking beer, in the school. Lots of nice memory there.

I still vividly remember his favourite subject in the final year was Biology, which was the same as mine.

After our A level, he went to Canada for his study, while I went to Sg for my Uni life. He chose the path as Actuarist, but me as Biotechnologist. Got one time I tot our life path may not intersect again...

After graduating from Uni, he headed to KL for his career... we seldom met for these two years. In that few years, many things have happened in my life. Happy and unhappy, it is my life experience.

However, one year ago, Loon decided to come Sg and work as an actuarist. I am so glad to hear that. Finally we can share our life together again. In that period, he also got to know the special someone in my life, who has since gone to US.

It's also recently, that loon has quitted his full time job, and joined in the dvd business. I was sharing with him last night, that, I really no longer believe anything call Forever.

Look at loon, he came to Sg because he want to have a bigger career as an actuarist. But also because he came to Sg, he gave up his acturial job and throw himself in another business.

So am I. I have what I have today, exactly because of my family problem. If it is not of my family problem, probably I am still contend in my job and won't get to enlarge my social circle and know the special someone in my life. Life is intertwined in such a way that sometimes you hardly can blame anything.

People come and go. Remember, just be present. Treasure the person and thing you are having at this very moment. We will never know what will happen to us the next moment.

Ed note: after I wrote this entry, I had a very nice phone chat with little emeline. She is so adorable. And she is my present :) and I love you!
