Uncle went NTUC shopping

Yesterday afternoon went to BM NTUC to buy my grocery... whooha... got 20% storewide discount lei (for houseware). But kanasai no discount on food items (and beer).

lots of people q-up for toto, but hmm I was a good boy

Anyway I gonna stock up my instant noodle arsenal. Bought my favourite Nong Shim Ramyun -

Out of curiosity I search Nong Shim on net and quite a lot of fans out there... even devoted a webpage to do a review on their noodles... crazy...

Their review - This Korean favorite is a fiery red hot soup with a spicy scent that live up to its reputation. The noodle is thicker than ramen and round, similar to Udon but springier. When ready, I carefully poured out about half the soup sauce before serving it in a bowl. Taking the first sip before eating, prepared me for what was to come. Slurping the sauce with the noodle in each bite, I was really enjoying it, as the hot spicy sensation took hold. The lively hot noodles were enjoyed with tasty chewy bits of shitake mushroom and other vegetables. It was a great finish, the spicy hot sensation was felt as far down as my stomach and I got a little sweaty too. As it is one of the spiciest ramen, you can crack a fresh egg over it just before removing from the heat and stir to tame it. Also works and tasty is to top a good handful of finely cut green onions to the bowl just before serving.

By the way... saw 2 new products of Nong Shim noodles on the shelf, KimChi and Claypot... so I bought both... think end up I bought like 6 or 7 packs of different variety of noodle (enough to last me one month? Give me a good wife my God...)

and the pathetic Anchor beer too :(

Being a cheapo broken uncle... me nowadays can only buy Anchor Beer cos it's cheap cheap at only $2 per can. Imagine my favourite Beck's at $3.50 per can... sigh... let me die or strike toto. Anyway I bought one pack of 6 cans at only $11.60 nia... Shiok!

Sadly, I could only bear to buy one bottle of my damn favourite No.1 dream wheat beer - Erdinger... this is not only extraordinary beer okay... it is damn expensive too at $6.60 per bottle! Compare Tiger only $4.50 per bottle. KNN... best thing came with a price...

ohhhhh let me die in heaven with Erdinger!!!

I can't believe these instant noodles, potato chips and beers costing me whopping $78! KNN.

At night went to eat dinner with HK and Wayne at Gilman Seafood Village... had this 3-cup crocodile pot something like that... yummy... I like it, very lean crocodile meat but kinda dry... anyway I like it... I am very cruel wahaha...
